Power generation by power units of all 11 operating nuclear power plants in Russia has exceeded 200 billion kWh since the beginning of 2022. Such a volume of generated power made it possible to prevent emissions of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere in the amount of more than 100 million tons of CO₂ equivalent.
Compared to the same period last year, the power volume increased by 1.44%. The excess of the FAS plan from the beginning of 2022 is almost 3%. The capacity utilization factor (CUF) is over 78%.
Currently, Russian nuclear power plants produce about 20% of the total power generation in the country.
