Kazan Expo fully complies with contemporary international standards and is included in the All-Russian Register of Sports Facilities.
In 2021, Kazan Expo IEC signed Net Zero Carbon Events—“Commitment to achieve zero emissions in the field of event organization.” The organization plans to reduce emissions by 50% in 2023, and achieve zero emissions by 2050.
Kazan Expo IEC has developed the concept of #EcoExpo: with introduced elements of “smart” building that affects the environment, bins for separate waste collection, digital media, etc.

♦ plate heat exchangers for water preparation in hot water systems, whose main advantages are savings, as well as a high heat transfer coefficient

♦ energy efficient ventilation equipment and air conditioning (use of air recovery systems in the general ventilation system, which contributes to savings in gas and electricity consumption)
♦ use of ozone-friendly freon R410A for operation of energy efficient ventilation equipment and air conditioning systems
♦ use of special machinery running on environmentally friendly fuel (natural gas as a motor fuel)
